Room with a view. Capitol Hill in the distance. #earlymorning #hellosunshine On tonight! All invited. @wanuskewin #prairielandscape #yxeartist This is my porcelain piece, Prairie Rose. I am happy to be exhibiting it at Wanuskewin. Opening for ‘A Sense of Place’ is April 18th 6-8. All invited to join the many wonderful artists exhibiting in this exhibition about our response to the landscape of this incredible place #wanuskewin @wanuskewin #wanuskewinasenseofplace #senseofplace @tourismsask #pocelain #yxeartists I made this Bride Motanka for my daughter to protect and keep her marriage safe. It is strengthened with herbs and buckwheat so she will not be hungry, lavender for restful sleep, wool for warmth, cotton flower fluff for resolve, beeswax for purity and fertility, two nickels so she will always have two nickels to rub together, and a Euro for her travels. The opal necklace is for prosperity and her namesake, as many of her female ancestors have Opal Marie in their name. #ukrainiangirl #motanka @ukrainianmuseumca #yxeartists #babascloset Mock up chicken legs- any guesses? @ukrainianmuseumca @saskfoundationforthearts #babayaga #sophieandersonauthor
